I don’t know if the image will show. But, in a discussion regarding the use of desk top computer power supplies for 12V for a radio, I was of the opinion that the 12v rail could only handle about 3 amps. While that may have been the case in the past, the data I found shows that some will handle up to 15 amps. So, the good news is, I was wrong. There are plenty of discarded computers that could provide quite adequate amperage at 12V. I fear most of my junk box has older computers but I am going to check more closely now.
